Simone Dorset (ft. J.Eminai)

Born in Leicester, Simone is a versatile singer/songwriter with a soulful voice. having performed everything from rock and jazz through to R&B and hip hop, her debut single Unwise featuring J.Eminai was featured on BBC Introducing on BBC Radio Suffolk. On Thursday night’s event she will be performing as an acoustic duo with J.Eminai.

CM and the band

Courtney, Megan, Sam, Curtis, Marshall and Steven are the six members of CM and the Band, an electric group named after the initials of their two singers. They specialise in pop covers and on Thursday night will be performing their versions of two huge recent hits by Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars.

Alex and Kello - WINNERS

Alex and Kello are an acoustic duo specialising in indie rock and pop punk. As music students at Suffolk New College they’ve performed at local music events such as Music In The Park and also have experience with local competitions.

Tonik

Thursday night’s second six-piece Tonik consists of Charlotte, Dionne, Jack, Max, Dom and Kingsley, who perform electric covers and mash-ups with an old school R&B style. Each member has plenty of experience with live gigs, having performed at numerous previous events including the college’s Christmas Concert.

Georgie Carr

A solo acoustic act. She has been preforming for the last 3 years doing both big and small gigs and been playing the guitar and singing for even longer.

Harmonix

Closing Thursday night’s show are Charlotte, Dionne, Megan, Courtney and Kello who together form Harmonix: A five-piece acapella group from Suffolk New College. With five very different voices, the group create truly unique covers of both new and classic pop songs that all audiences can enjoy and join in with.
